Blah.

School is waaay boring.  I made myself flashcards today.  Real fun.  Not.  I'm so tired- from when I get up in the morning to when I crawl into bed at night, which makes class even harder to sit through.  I'm recognising words (especially when my history teacher was talking about me, saying that I understand more than I'm letting on) but it gets tiring to try and figure out what's happening when you only recognise one part of a sentence.  Also, I lost my dictionary, so I can't look up words.  It's driving me nuts, but I'm really cheap and am harboring a secret hope that it'll magically get returned to me and I won't have to buy a new one.  If it's still missing on Saturday, I'll pick one up after class.
I adore you all for commenting, especially since I have nothing to say.  Inspire me please.  Ask me whatever.  I'll answer if I can.  But no, I don't have a clue why the milk's in the cubboard and the flour's in the fridge.  Eventually I'll get out and take pictures of myself and stuff.

Inspiration has arrived! Remember when we had flash cards in grades 2 and 3 for math? I miss them! 'Cept, I really don't miss mad minutes...

Anyways, that really doesn't have anything to do with Turkey... Do all your teachers speak English or are they just trying to mess with you? Obama or McCain? Sheep? Name off some foods that you've eaten. How big are the flags? Huge? What are the students like? What kind of homework do you get? Clouds?

You have one minute (from the time you read this). Go!

I'll have no idea how long it will take you to answer, cause I can't actually watch you. But my super powers will KNOW if you cheat! I'll know.

Love ya, Maeghan!

OK, how does the milk not spoil? I left my milk on the counter for like, three hours, and it got all smelly. Is is MILK POWDER?!? That would be so cool!

Are you watching the American election? I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

Do the newspapers have comics? What is your newspaper called?! Does it have an awesome name like... I can't really be guessing here 'cause I definitely don't know Turkish!

OH! I think I've asked you this before, but what side of the road to they drive on? And if they drive on the left, do people walk on the left of the hallway too? Because that would SUCK!!

Trying to understand another language is tiring. Especially if people are constantly speaking in that language and you don't get a break of English. But congrats on improving!

Go cheapness. I think my mom rules in that category and she has passed some of it down to me.

Seriously? The flour's in the fridge? But doesn't the milk spoil? Oh, and I'm not sure if you've mentioned this already, but do you have 2% milk over there, or do people normally buy whole milk?

And that is an interesting question about which side people walk on in hallways.

Are all video sites banned?
What sites aren't blocked? If you are really that bored, try and see if my site is blocked or not. Because if it is, then the Turkish government is way to thorough.

Things that remind me of you: Social Studies and "Turkey"--apparently it appears a lot on the maps in our textbook. Icebreakers. Bio. Lorenz. I really need to count how many times she says "kay?" after every sentence. AND GUESS WHAT? We are currently talking about genes in Bio. And recessive and dominant traits. It is a recessive trait to...not be able to roll your tongue! And I got that trait! But you Maeghan dear, have DEFIED GENETICS!! It's amazing and mindblowing. And that reminds me of Defying Gravity. Which reminds me of New York and that I want to make a sock puppet (in a coffin because Laura has decided I should sneak in a suitcase to New York--but wouldn't a coffin be so much cooler? so a coffin it is.) Would that be alright if there was another sock puppet in Medicine Hat? But can you imagine Laura with these 2 socks on her hand in New York, and talking to them and showing all the sights. She must be one of the coolest people there. New York just isn't the same without Laura Hammel and her sock puppet(s). Oh man.

Wow that was long.

HEY HEY!!! How is the Turkey cookin'? Hahah lol, jk. I love your blogs, they make me laugh! And the one about "Love.Is.Here" is very inspiring. I have seen some poverty here too, it is disheartening. But at the same time it gives me hope because I know that something can be done about it if we really try. Thanks for reading my blog!! You are the only one to comment on here lol. THANKS! Keep having a blast in Turkey!!! And school is really boring for me here too, because I do no work. Except for study my portuguese work book I brought from Canada and write in my journal. I am such a keener. But I do find it funny when people talk about me and I understand them...and then I let them know. lol
anyway, kisses from Brazil!!!!
